Xbox 360 Left Out of Titanfall Beta Testing

Respawn CEO, Vince Zampella, has announced that a beta maybe coming soon but that the Xbox 360 will definitely not get one.

Announced via Twitter, Zampella wrote, "#supersecret announcement time. I'm sure no one has been able to guess from the leaks. PC and XboxOne Beta! Details in the coming days." Regarding the Xbox 360 version of the game, Zampella wrote that it's being done by Bluepoint Games. So it would be safe to assume that the beta will be exclusive to PC and Xbox One.

It seems as if the developers will be testing to see if the game works properly and potentially find any bugs in the game but also to gauge people's opinions of the game and see if they like it.

Free Titanfall beta keys are expected to be released soon but it seems as though many people will be left out as there are a very small number of beta positions when compared with the many people that are highly antcipating the game.

Titanfall Wins Plenty of Awards at E3 2013

Titanfall won plenty of awards at E3 2013, six to be exact and in every category it was nominated for. Titanfall is actually the first game that has won six awards in the history of E3.

Awards won by Titanfall at E3 2013:

Best in Show
Best Original Game
Best Console Game
Best PC Game
Best Action Game
Best Online Multiplayer

Respawn Entertainment are the developers of the game and mainly consists of the people who left Infinity Ward a while ago and it seems apparent that they took most of the talent from their previous company.

Electronic Arts (EA) are the publishers of the game which may come to the disappointment of some people as EA are notorious for their money grabbing antics that are seen in its major sports games, such as Fifa, and Mass Effect. Titanfall is expected to be an Origin only PC title.

The co-head of Respawn Entertainment, Vince Zampella, hinted at a beta being released for Xbox One and PC in early 2014.
